With the new SabreLite Recoil LED Peli is launching not only a new torch, but a whole new technological innovation: the Recoil LED Technology . This consists on directing all of the 1 Watt Luxeon LED light back into the reflector, working like a lighthouse - It captures 100% of the light which is reflected forward, obtaining a truly focused beam of pure white light. This is an extra safety factor as the LED is a semiconduictor point source light which can be disorientating if looked at directly especially ion the dark so by looking at the reflected beam it is a little safer but still very bright when looked at directly one would normally atomatically close the eylids and divert away from the beam.
This classic torch now comes with 50 hours of battery burn time and 10.000 hours of LED life.
Certified to ATEX Category 3 (Zone 2) and submersible up to 150 meters, the
SabreLite Recoil LED is built of extremely tough and chemically resistant Xenoy polymer, which makes this new torch unbelievably strong.
